Waxing
Waxing is a popular and efficient way to remove hair from the root using a resin-based wax. Because it clears large areas in one quick motion, it is an affordable choice when time matters. Wax is removed against the direction of growth, so a few hairs may break or stay behind and need a quick touch-up with tweezers. It can occasionally lead to ingrown hairs, but for anyone looking for a fast and convenient treatment, waxing is a great fit.

Soft Wax / Strip Wax
Ideal for soft hair on the body.
Spread thinly over the skin in the direction of growth, then covered with a cloth or paper strip that is lifted away quickly to remove the hair.
Hard Wax / Hot Wax
Best for coarser hair in areas such as the underarms and bikini line.
Applied in the direction of growth. As it sets, it grips the hair and is then lifted away against the direction of growth.

Salon Waxing Guidelines
Hair Length
For the best result, hair should be at least one centimetre long. Shorter hair is harder to catch and may need tweezers, which we use as little as possible to avoid ingrown hairs. For short hair, we suggest sugaring or waiting a little longer.
efficiency
Waxing is quick and efficient, covering large areas in one movement. Wax goes on with the growth and comes off against it. A few hairs may break along the way, and we tidy those up with a gentle touch-up.
treatment area
We don’t wax above the neck (apart from the nose, front of the neck and nape), and we don’t offer male Brazilian waxing. For these areas, sugaring or laser hair removal are excellent alternatives.
